What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal Fillers are soft tissue fillers made from Hyaluronic Acid.  This is a naturally occurring human protein responsible for cushioning the skin. Hyaluronic acid is hygroscopic which means that it draws water strongly to it and therefore the treated area increases in volume.
