The Optiphi Clarity Mousse Mask is an active clay mask that effectively diminishes breakouts and helps treat acne. Key active ingredients include:
- Lactococcus Ferment Lysate has probiotic power and helps rebuild and balance the skin’s microbiome, the ecosystem that guards you against pathogens (bacteria).
- Epilobium Fleisheri Extract assists in balancing the skin’s microbiome, encourages microbial skin self-defence and is an anti-irritant.
- Green Clay encourages a purifying and deep cleansing action on the pores and brightens the natural glow of the skin.
- Azelaic Acid has antimicrobial, calming and soothing properties; and improves overall skin texture.
- Salicylic Acid effectively penetrates deep into the pores of the skin and with its exfoliating action, it refines, deep cleanses and decreases the appearance of large pores.
- Bakuchiol, a retinol alternative, offers a calming and soothing effect, antibacterial and antifungal, encouraging newer, healthier skin cells.
- Ectoin is an incredible calming active, targeting the reduction of skin irritation almost instantly, while hydrating and building a stronger skin barrier.
- Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) supports the regulation of sebum (oil) production; improves the barrier function; provides a calming and soothing effect and has a brightening effect on dark spots post-blemish.
Directions:Â Apply a thick layer to cleansed, dry skin, 1-2 times a week. Leave the mask on for 10 -15 min and rinse off with a wet sponge/ cloth.
